The Process
We knew the second that we saw this handprinted gown by Kate McDonald at Gilded Bridal that it needed a non-traditional twist. We incorporated a hot pink eyeliner and a soft bow detail for the hair to round it out. The custom pear shaped engagement ring by Melissa Tyson Designs completed the look. We wanted the background to be moody but still pickup the gold tones in the dress. The finished alternative wedding editorial was exactly what we envisioned.
